Preschool
Our full day program begins at 6:30am and ends at 6:00pm. We have breakfast, lunch and snack time daily. Parents can choose part-time days, full-time days, or a combination of both. Our Early Childhood program well prepares students for our Kindergarten and Elementary program.
Students learn scripture, how to work with their peers, develop fine motor skills, and enjoy hands-on learning adventures.
Learning about God's character and biblical truths are central components of our Early Childhood programs. This helps and shapes a biblical worldview in our students.
Enriching activities are explored by our students every day. They learn social skills on the playground in free and structured play time.
We love our parent community. We care for and love the most precious treasure of your heart.
You will notice a warm and welcoming staff on our campus.

Kindergarten
Students learn in a wholesome environment in our kindergarten program. Using the phonics approach, students are given the most essential component in learning – the ability to read. Christian values and character are taught by caring teachers. Your child will excel in a safe, structured academic program. You will be amazed with how much your child can learn.
Elementary
The Academy’s elementary school grades form the basis for a solid academic foundation. Students enjoy learning in a traditional classroom setting focusing on the basics which will prepare them for the upper grades. Whether it is an art project or a research project, elementary students get a firm grasp on the essentials to help them be prepared for the next level.
Middle School
The transitional middle school years are vitally important in the development of every young person. With the beginning of adolescence, students need security and encouragement that Shining Light Baptist Academy offers. Academically, students will be challenged and prepared for senior high school by taking courses that are intense, yet attainable for the average student.
High School
Our high school program helps prepare students for life and to excel in college. Courses are high quality and college preparatory. They are taught by experienced, caring teachers. Small teacher-student ratios keep instruction personal and allows for more individual attention.
SLBA partners with The Crown College in the Early Advantage dual enrollment program, South Piedmont Community College in the dual enrollment College and Career Promise Program, as well as the Gateway Scholarship Program sponsored by SPCC and Wingate University. Let us help you personalize a plan for college preparation and credit.
